Hello My BOM Friends!

How are you? Staying toasty, I hope. I love a beautiful snowfall, and we had a hefty one last week that closed schools. We homeschool, so my little ones don’t get the same thrill when the words “Schools Closed” scroll across our devices. Poor kids. On the bright side, we finish our year earlier than the district, so we have a longer summer. Woohoo!

How are your blocks coming along? Any problems? I ripped a few seams and started over, only to realize I was supposed to square my “oversized blocks…” It pays to read instructions BEFORE getting started. Eye-yuh-yih!

February’s block (BLOCK 2) ships this week. I am enclosing a hard copy of the cutting instructions in your packet. You can also click on the “Cutting Diagrams” link below (or on our website if you’re reading the paper hard copy of this post).

Several of you have expressed interest in an “insurance” bundle. YES, great idea! I put together two “insurance” bundles—fat quarters and half yard cuts. Both bundles include all 15 fabrics. Follow the link below for your “insurance bundle.” If you purchase your bundle by Tuesday, February 8, I will include it with your February block. Otherwise, it will ship separately with our regular fabric orders.

Important this month: I have included the web interfacing for the entire project, so please cut off what you need for this month and store the rest until you need it again.
