“Butterflies in the Garden of Life” is an original demo quilt.
So what does that mean?
Piecing quilts is a pure joy to me. I love to try new patterns, colors and fabrics. With the time involved in piecing quilts, it’s impossible to piece quilts on a regular basis to sell. So when I try quilt patterns, new fabrics and color combos, I occasionally sell them as “DEMO” quilts. I design the quilts, piece them, quilt them, bind them, and then use the finished quilts for photos and promotions. And then I offer them for sale. Savvy quilt lovers know they’re getting custom pieced quilts that took weeks and sometimes months to design and sew for a fraction of what a custom quilt would otherwise cost.
It’s sad to see this one go, but we can’t keep them all. This custom pieced quilt was quilted on my Gammill Statler Stitcher. What that means in the quilting world is that the quality is 2nd to none.
The fabric is 100% cotton. Use, love, machine wash cool, tumble dry low, repeat…
